We process only the data required to provide transcription and clinical documentation services, including recording audio, transcription output, and basic account or device information needed to operate the app securely.
3. No Sale or Sharing of Medical or PII Data
MScribed does not sell, rent, trade, or share medical information or personally identifiable information (PII) with third parties for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage purposes.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Recording data is automatically deleted within 3 days (72 hours) of recording, regardless of whether transcription is complete. This deletion policy applies to recordings and related transcription data handled by MScribed systems. Account deletion requests follow the separate process described on our Account Deletion page.
5. HIPAA and Security Safeguards
MScribed is designed for HIPAA-compliant workflows and applies administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect sensitive medical and personal data.
6. Legal Exceptions
We may disclose information only when required by applicable law, legal process, or valid governmental request.
